Although the farmhouse is centrally heated
throughout, our guests may prefer to take
advantage of the cosy lounge with its log fire.
So, on those infrequent rainy days, you can
curl up in a comfortable chair, and completely
relax in the warmth with a good book.
Alternatively, guests may prefer to wind down
with an evening walk around the farm gardens
with views across the countryside, and be
entertained by the abundant wildlife which
regularly visit the pond.
The south-facing terraced gardens are one of the prettiest
features at Knock Farm, and visible from all the bedrooms.
Due to the sheltered aspect of the farmhouse, the sculptured
terraces, the abundant pots, and the hanging baskets
positively thrive, and provide a magnificent show of colour and
scent throughout spring and late into the summer.
The arbour is yet another leafy 'retreat' situated in a corner
of this beautiful garden.
Our guests can hideaway with a good book, or just sit
quietly and breathe in the peace and tranquillity of the
garden.
